About The Tour:
A 14
days/ 13 nights tour to the mesmerizing Leh & Ladakh region. This
tour makes you explore the rich Buddhist culture and takes you to
the famous old & fascinating monasteries around Leh. We also visit
Nubra valley which is reached crossing over Khardungla the World’s
highest motorable pass and then later we visit Pangong lake the
largest inland lake of Indian sub continent. We also visit Ruphu
valley with its lakes & remote villages.

programme:-
Delhi/ Leh/
Nubra/ Pangong/ Tsomoriri/ Tsokhar/ Leh/ Delhi (14 days/ 13
nights)
Day 01: Arrive
Leh
Travel by air to
Leh from Delhi. Meet & greet on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Complete day for the acclimatization. In the evening free to make
short walk around the Leh bazar Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: In Leh
An excursion to famous
monasteries of Ladakh. It is interesting to visit early in the
morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery.
Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous
monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey
Palace. Evening free to explore Leh market on own. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 03: In Leh
Morning half day
tour visiting Spituk and Phyang monasteries. Afternoon a half day
tour visiting Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Shankar Gompa and Leh
Bazar. Evening a visit to the local Ladakhi family house can be
organized on request at an extra cost. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Leh/ Uletokpo (70 kms/ 8 hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Uletokpo enroute visiting Basgo Palace,
Liker and Alchi monasteries. Also walk around the village and
drive to Uletokpo. Overnight in camp.
 Day
05: Uletokpo/ Lamayuru/ Leh (170 kms/ 8 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from the camp and drive to Lamayuru
monastery. Lamayuru monastery is one of the oldest and
spectacularly set founded in 10th century. Afternoon
drive back to Leh. On arrival check in and overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Leh/
Khardongla/ Hunder (120 kms/ 6 hrs)
Travel by
surface from Leh to hunder enroute visiting Khardongla pass, which
is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 m and has been
recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records. Continue drive to
Deskit visiting the Gompa and then further to Hunder. On arrival
check in at camp. In the evening visit the sand dunes and optional
bactirian camel ride. Overnight in camp.
Day 07: Hunder/
Panamik/ Samastaling/ Leh (170 kms/ fullday)
Travel by
surface from Hunder to Leh enroute visiting hot springs at Panamik
and Samastaling monastery. Later drive back to Leh/. On arrival
check in and overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Leh/
Pangong lake (160 kms/ 6 hrs)
After Breakfast
leave for Pangong Lake14, 500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.
Third Highest Motorable road in the world. On arrival check in and
overnight at camp.
Day 09: Pangong
Lake/ Leh
After Breakfast
visit Pangong Lake, A Highest Salt Water Lake In the World, Shared
by two countries India (25%) & China (75%), Enjoy the beauty of
lake on Banks of the Lake while appreciating the changing colours
of fascinating high Altitude Lake. Return back to Leh. Overnight
at hotel in Leh.
Day 10: Leh/
Tsomoriri Lake (240 kms/ 6 hrs)
Today we take
you on a 4 day tour to the Rupshu region of Ladakh which is famous
of its nomadic shepards. Travel by surface from Leh to Tsomoriri.
On arrival check in and overnight at camp.
Day 11: In
Tsomoriri
A day to visit
Tsomoriri lake, walk around the beautiful lake, visit Karzok
village on banks of the lake and the village monastery. Overnight
at camp.
Day 12:
Tsomoriri/ Tsokhar Lake (100 kms/ 4 hrs)
Travel by
surface from Tsomoriri to yet another salt lake of this region. On
arrival check in at camp. Rest of the day free to explore the
region, make walks around the camp or visit the remote Tsokhar
village. Overnight at camp.
Day 13: Tsokhar/
Leh (145 kms/ 5 hrs)
Travel by
surface from Tsokhar to Leh crossing over Tanglangla (5360 m)
which is the second highest motorable pass. On arrival check in at
hotel. Rest of day free for independent activities. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 14: Depart Leh
Morning in time transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. End
of tour.

The above rates donot include the following as:-
Air/ train fare, any meals other than mentioned, portages, travel
insurance, entrance to places of visit, local guide, repatriation
charges, damages/ claims of any nature, expenses of personal
nature like tips, telephone calls, laundry, drinks etc or anything
not mentioned in above price include column
Payment & reservation terms:
You can make reservations with us by advising us your acceptance
of the tour and travel dates alongwith 25% of total tour amount as
booking amount. Incase travel dates lie within two weeks of period
we would require full payments in advance to initiate
reservations. We would immediately proceed to make tentative
bookings. All services would be kept on confirmed basis on receipt
of full advance payments only. You can make payments by depositing
cash/ cheque in our ICICI account (Account Name: Himalayan Saga,
No: 635305000205). Once the bank intimates us about money being
credited into our account we would immediately confirm all you
travel arrangements and forward you travel documents/ service
vouchers against which you would be provided rooms at hotel.
Cancellation & operational policy:
Cancellation of minimum 25% would be charged of full amount on
booking once made. Cancellation charges of 50% of total amount
would apply for period less than two weeks and no refund if
cancellation received one week prior to travel dates. If any part
of package is not availed, refunds cannot be claimed for and
neither is any part of package exchangeable with some other
services. Incase extension of a tour is required, supplement as
applicable would be paid directly to us by the clients.
