KINNAUR & SANGLA VALLEY WITH SHIMLA - 7 DAYS/ 6 NIGHTS TOUR

About The Tour: A 7 days/ 6 nights tour to the remote and picturesque Kinnaur & Sangla valley which are considered as one of the most beautiful regions of Himachal Pradesh. This tour starts with a stay in Shimla which was once the capital of British India and the town still retains some of the old charm. The tour involves visiting old temples, traditional villages, remote valleys providing spectacular views of snow capped peaks, rivers & streams and charming village folk. The tour offers ample opportunities to nature and enthusiastic photo lovers.

Places covered: Shimla, Fagu, Narkanda, Rampur, Sarahan, Recong Peo, Kalpa, Roghi, Sangla, Kamru, Chitkul

Detailed programme:-

Shimla/ Sarahan/ Kalpa/ Sangla/ Shimla

Day 01: Arrive Chandigarh/ Shimla (120 kms)

Meet on arrival in Chandigarh airport/ station and transfer to Shimla by surface. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to stroll in the famous The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Shimla/ Rampur/ Sarahan (175 kms)

Travel by surface from Shimla to Sarahan, the gateway to Kinnaur enroute crossing the famous hill resorts of Kufri & Narkanda. Enroute also visit Rampur and view Padam Palace. Continue drive along the Satluj river and from Jeori climb upto Sarahan. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening visit the famous Bhimakali temple at Sarahan. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Sarahan / Kalpa (107 kms)

After breakfast travel by surface from Sarahan to Kalpa. The route is along the Sutlej river. Kalpa is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of Kinner Kailash Mountain range. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Roghi village which has traditionally built Kinnauri houses. Evening free to walk around the Kalpa village. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Kalpa / Sangla (51 kms)

After breakfast travel to Sangla which has earned distinction of one of the most beautiful valleys in Himachal. At Sangla visit Kamru village and make a small walk to visit Kamru Fort which has a temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi. Later check in at camp. Rest of day is free to relax and enjoy the pristine beauty. Overnight at camp.

Day 05: In Sangla

After breakfast an excursion visiting the picturesque village of Chitkul. Drive back to Sangla. Rest of day free to relax or make walks to nearby Batseri village. Overnight at camp.

Day 06: Sangla/ Shimla (237 kms)

Travel by surface from Sangla to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Shimla/ Kalka (90 kms)

Intime transfer to Kalka station or Chandigarh station/ airport for train/ flight for onward destination. End of tour & our services.

Our rates on per person twin sharing basis to organize the above 07 days/ 06 nights Tour to Kinnaur & Sangla Valley valid from 1^st May to 15^th Oct 2010 would be as:-

All of the above mentioned rates include the following services as:-

• Accommodation in mentioned or similar hotels on twin sharing basis (2 nights Shimla, 1 Night Sarahan, 1 night Kalpa, 2 nights Sangla). Check in/ out time 12 noon

• Bed & breakfast basis in Shimla and all meals at other places (6 breakfasts, 4 hot/ packed lunch & 4 dinners)

• All transportation & sight seeing by a non ac Qualis/ scorpio with services of a driver

• All presently applicable taxes (service tax included)

All of the above rates do not include the following services as:-

Rail fare, air fare, any meals other than mentioned, portage, guides, entrance fees to places of visit, damages/ claims of any kind, expenses of personal nature like tips, drinks, laundry, telephone calls etc. or anything not mentioned in above price include column

Payment & reservation terms: You can make reservations with us by advising us your acceptance of the tour and travel dates alongwith 25% of total tour amount as booking amount. Incase travel dates lie within two weeks of period we would require full payments in advance to initiate reservations. We would immediately proceed to make tentative bookings. All services would be kept on confirmed basis on receipt of full advance payments only. You can make payments by depositing cash/ cheque in our ICICI account (Account Name: Himalayan Saga, No: 635305000205). Once the bank intimates us about money being credited into our account we would immediately confirm all you travel arrangements and forward you travel documents/ service vouchers against which you would be provided rooms at hotel.

Cancellation & operational policy: Cancellation of minimum 25% would be charged of full amount on booking once made. Cancellation charges of 50% of total amount would apply for period less than two weeks and no refund if cancellation received one week prior to travel dates. If any part of package is not availed, refunds cannot be claimed for and neither is any part of package exchangeable with some other services. Incase extension of a tour is required, supplement as applicable would be paid directly to us by the clients.
